This is the perfect hotel for anyone who wants to enjoy the different nuances of the city without being surrounded by the noise and tourist traffic of midtown.
With a nightly rate of just over $100 this hotel is a bargain! The great thing about NYC is that you are never too far from the action.
This hotel doesn’t offer all the amenities, you would get at ‘The W’ but for $122 dollars per night in New York City… Who’s really complaining, not to mention they have a 4 star rating on Yelp.

Hotel 17 is one of the best reviewed hotels on this list. Located in lower midtown Manhattan, and only minutes from Union Square Park, this hotel puts you in the center of all the action.
Hotel 17 is often hailed ‘Manhattan’s best neighborhood hotel’, and with a price tag of $104 per night through Thanksgiving we would have to agree.
Sporting vintage rooms, with the wallpaper decor this hotel has a very antique feel. The hotel has a rich history, appearing in the 1993 Woody Allen film ‘Manhattan Murder Mystery’ and being a frequently used location for celebrity photo shoots.
This Manhattan hotel is considered a landmark by many, you can visit their website and book online to take advantage of that great price tag.
The Pod Hotel

The Pod hotel is the next hotel on our list… This trendy, chic hotel has two locations in the city, both fairly close to the Murray Hill section of Manhattan. On their website they advertise themselves as the hotel for the ‘savvy traveler’ on a budget, and at $161 per night… Who are we to disagree.
The rooms are small but for the economical price you shouldn’t be expecting a penthouse. This is one of the most contemporary hotels on the list, with a rooftop bar overlooking the city, this hotel is perfect for young couples or singles who want to be at the center of all the movement.
With Time Square less than a mile away… You can walk over to Broadway and catch one of the classic New York City shows. The MoMa and Madison Square Garden are relatively close as well. Book your room at the Pod hotel, and save money while you’re at it.
The Club Quarters Hotel (World Trade Center)

The Club Quarters hotels are a series of business hotels, they are tailored to fit the need of executive travelers. Many of our black car service clients choose to stay here, because of the comfort it offers to business travelers.
They are unlike many of the hotels on this list due to the fact that they offer a yearly membership, which includes discounts, and special rates. If you’re not a member that is just fine, you can still book a stay with them.
The CQ hotel puts you in the middle of the financial district, with a huge selection of bars and restaurants in the area you will never be idle.
This hotel boasts all the amenities that a business traveler would need… Instant registration and checkout, free high speed wifi, and even offering unlimited free bottled water.
The CQ normally will run you about $230 for night, but we actually found some deals on Trip Advisor for $140 per night! With all the bells and whistles that this hotel includes, it’s easily the best deal on this list.
The Howard Johnson Soho

The Howard Johnson is a staple in the hotel industry, known for its affordable prices it’s no wonder they have found themselves on our list. This new construction is located in the center of the culture filled Lower East Side.
The Howard Johnson Soho is located relatively close to plenty of classic NYC attractions. Only minutes away from Chinatown and Little Italy, you can receive an authentic New York City experience just a short walk away.
Normally the hotel rooms go for slightly over $200, but we found another Trip advisor deal for $167 per night. Insane to think you can be in the middle of the city, and find hotel pricing this good.
The hotel offers basic amenities such as complimentary breakfast, wifi services, and a concierge desk at your disposal in case you need anything.
If you want to check out a piece of NYC history, the World Trade Center memorial is only a short cab ride away from the hotel. Overall a great hotel for the price, offering tremendous value.
With the rise of Airbnb hotels have been taking a hit lately, and we understand that not everyone has the means spend upwards of $500 per night on a room in New York City. We wanted to show our readers that affordable accommodations in NYC do exist if you look hard enough.
